Paid Opportunity for Income-Eligible Volunteers 55+
ALL SCSEP POSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY FILLED
Since 2022, Seton Center has partnered with the Jewish Council for the Aging to host SCSEP - Senior Community Service Employment Program! Their goal is to assist older adults in Montgomery and Frederick County maintain independence, dignity, vitality, and self-respect.
What is SCSEP? It is a program designed specifically for income-eligible adults age 55 or over to enter or re-enter the workforce in local non-profits like Seton Center and government agencies.
Participants may:
- work up to 20 hours per week for up to 4 years
- receive a stipend of $15.50 per hour
- learn new skills or brush up on current skills
