Bridges to Sustainable Communities Symposium
October 3 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Join us and guest speaker Philip E. DeVol to discuss his book, Community Conversations That Lead to Direct Action: Bridges to Sustainable Communities, and what concrete steps we can take to build communities that not only serve the poor, but help our neighbors to create and maintain better lives for themselves.
- Learn to apply the Bridges Out of Poverty framework to create sustainable communities
- Have a clear understanding of how the Getting Ahead curriculum’s philosophy and process promotes self-actualization and self-efficacy for graduates
