Seton Center Designated Cooling Station During Heat Advisory Action

When Frederick County issues an Extreme Heat Advisory, citizens may use the Seton Center during the following operational hours as a cooling center:

Monday thru Friday, 10 AM – 4 PM:

  1. Air conditioned Community Room with tables and chairs (maximum capacity of 50)
  2. Public restrooms
  3. Water fountains w/water bottle filling station
  4. Cups
  5. Computer Access for approved uses such as job searches. Requests for this access must be filed with and approved by our Outreach Office staff BEFORE use is permitted.

Saturday, 10 AM – 4 PM:

  1. Air conditioned foyer with seating (maximum capacity of 20)
  2. Public restrooms
  3. Water fountains w/water bottle filling station
